DANESE MILANO
Danese Milano is a historic brand of Italian design. Founded in 1957 by Bruno Danese, designer and entrepreneur with his wife Jacqueline Vodoz, Danese Milano has involved the most important designers, architects and artists in history. The aim is to create innovative products that express the perfect balance between business, culture and authorship, reinterpreting everyday objects. Danese's business began as an artisan workshop, which opens up to large-scale production accessible to all after the collaboration with Bruno Munari and Enzo Mari. Danese promotes a simple and clean style, both in the objects and in its table lamps, floor lamps and suspension lamps with a unique design, enhancing their care and simplicity. In 1991 Danese Milano sold the business to the multinational Strafor-Facom. The brand was subsequently acquired by Carlotta De Bevilacqua for the Artemide group, which brings a great innovative boost. Among the various Danese Milano solutions we find the Falkland and Itka indoor lamps, designed by Bruno Munari and Naoto Fukasawa. In addition to the objects designed by the masters, Danese adds new contemporary proposals every year designed by internationally renowned designers.
